In Recognition of Neil Brick

I

Going on 20 years, Neil Brick has been a dedicated and tireless advocate in the fight to expose ritual abuse and mind control. Survivors, their loved ones, advocates, activists, therapists, clergy, and researchers have come to see Neil Brick as a valuable source of information and training, and as a facilitator of the survivor community.

In 1995, Neil Brick (http://neilbrick.com ) founded S.M.A.R.T: Stop Mind Control and Ritual Abuse Today: http://ritualabuse.us .

Since then, he has published on line and in print over 110 issues of the SMART Newsletter: http://ritualabuse.us/newsletter/ The purpose of this newsletter is to help stop secretive organizations and groups from abusing others and to help those who allege they have been abused by such organizations and groups.

The newsletter covers a wide variety of issues, including: research publications, news items, and court cases on child abuse, clergy abuse, cult abuse, ritual abuse, Satanic ritual abuse, mind control, and cults; findings on the psychological, neurobiological and physical damage caused by these kinds of abuse; research supporting the trauma model of Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly called Multiple Personality Disorder or MPD); and research corroborating the common experience of recovered memories of actual child abuse.

Every summer since 1998, Neil Brick has developed and provided an international conference for ritual abuse and mind control survivors and their helpers: http://ritualabuse.us/smart-conference/ . He has recently added a one-day conference for clinicians to the survivor conference:

These conferences have become important for survivors, clinicians, etc., giving them a chance to sit down together, share ideas and resources, and build community.
