I am a psychologist who has been profoundly touched by victims of ritual abuse and mind control whom I have treated in therapy or befriended as an advocate. I feel compelled to increase public support for these children and adult survivors. This is my mission.
Let the truth be known!
This site will provide articles by myself and others, references to other resources, and links to information and support on the world-wide web.
Advocates for victims of ritual abuse are frequent targets of malicious attack. Therefore, I cannot and do not endorse opinions provided or referred to on this site other than my own.
This new page on my website seeks to expose a number of common forms of misinformation and tactics of disinformation about psychotherapy for trauma originating in ritual abuse and mind control. Disinformation is distinguished from misinformation in that it is intentionally fraudulent.

Healing from Ritual Abuse and Mind Control:
Survivor Trish Fotheringham Speaks Out
Interview by Ellen Lacter, Ph.D.
In an interview of almost three hours with Dr. Ellen Lacter, Trish Fotheringham inspires hope and courage for extreme abuse survivors. She gives direction and guidance for the healing journey, not only to survivors but also to the people who help them, including psychotherapists, clergy, and loved ones.
Dr. Lacter and some of her colleagues will be presenting on ritual abuse and mind control at this year’s Annual Conference of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD) in Atlanta, Georgia, from October 16 to 18, 2010 (with the pre-conference on October 14 and 15).
Wanda Karriker, Ph.D., Randy Noblitt, Ph.D., Eileen Schrader, MSW, and Ellen P. Lacter, Ph0.D. will present a four-hour workshop on Wednesday, September 17, 1:00 to 5:00pm, in San Diego, California entitled:
Torture-Based mind Control: Empirical Research, Programmer Methods, Effects & Treatment
This workshop provides current knowledge about mind control programming, its effects on its victims, challenges in the recovery process, and effective treatment strategies and healing methods. Clinical observations made by the presenters from their extensive work with mind control survivors are supported by preliminary data obtained from the 2007 series of International Extreme Abuse Surveys.
